But weirdly enough I am getting a lot of love for these boots -

Even my frenemy at the school gate has given them the thumbs up (in a non ironic way) and men have stopped me in the streets

Not sure I'd be brave enough, but they'd look awesome with a really delicate summery dress. I've been wanting the flowery ones for ages but don't know what I'd wear them with...

They're not fashion forward..they're a classic, if you like that sort of thing.

my gay friend who hangs round Hoxton convinced me to buy them. Apparently there's an early 90s revival going on and the DM boots are very "grunge"

I wear them with skinny jeans and a biker jacket but toying with pairing them with a summer dress.

Saw someone wearing the flowery ones at the Tate Modern on Sat - she was very out there fashion wise and they looked awesome.
