Phase 8 sizing?

I'm running out of time to get a dress to wear on my sister's hen night. Need help!!

Am 5 foot 10 and a size 18 (unfortunately) and as outlined in previous threads have 38G norks.

Have found this
and this

what do we think? The second one looks a bit dull but might be nice with silver accessories, no?

I prefer the first one, but with big boobs, I think the second may look better. You can definitly dress it up with jewellery.

msboogie · 19/05/2010 20:47

yeah, I think so too, thanks for replying

I prefer the first one

yes you would def have to add some pizzazz to the second, do you not like the purple one better than that grey one.

Why not order both and see what they're like.
I would say the sizing in on the generous side.

msboogie · 19/05/2010 21:04

I do like the purple - they don't have it in 18 though

maybe I will order both and see, the generous sizing is encouraging me

ah well
some fab silver will indeed lift it

let us know which one you go for

you didn't fancy the purple maxi for the wedding then??

msboogie · 19/05/2010 22:52

I loved it but the thing is, being so tall maxi dresses are usually not maxi enough for me!

really
5'10 isn't that tall though is it?

I mean all the models are about that height aren't they.
I would have thought you'd look fab in a maxi

doesn't matter t hat it's shorter on you than others

KristinaM · 19/05/2010 22:56

i have a couple of jersey dresses from phase 8. I'm normally a 10 and i had to buy a "large" for my 32FF norks

i wear a 8 in their knitwear & trousers

msboogie · 19/05/2010 23:50

I dunno - I'm a bit scared of maxis. Would love to but eeh I dunno.

Yeh models are tall but high street stuff is made for people way shorter than that. If you look anywhere that does "tall" ranges it will say for women of 5 ft 7 and over!

gwan
order it and see what it looks like
