Not black. Deffo the purple if it's a good match. Otherwise, um, silver? I'm rubbish at S&B though

Have you seen them both in reality or just online?

They look nice

nowwearefour · 18/05/2010 19:48

Is the dress teh same just purple where it's turquoise? Why not the shoes suggested by Monsoon on that link or are they too pricey?

nowwearefour · 18/05/2010 19:56

yes indeed the dress is the same just not turquoise (though that is nice!) it is def purple. those shoes are quite pricey.....

Strappy gold? Think they'd look fine. Or browse Amazon for shoes or Schuh - may get similar to the Monsooon ones for much less

nowwearefour · 18/05/2010 20:00

thanks. they are a kind of bronzey gold. i have just tried them and they look ok i think but i find it so hard to tell. why is black so bad, just out of interest?

Back is too harsh against a colour - they don't tone in a way that gold/metallic or another complementary colour will.

I think it's a bit too officey. Plus, a wedding is an opportunity to wear brighter colours and mess about a bit.

bLack not back...

The coloured ones look better, but you might get more wear out of the black ones as they will go with more outfits.
