When in doubt visit Net a Porter or other sites that style products well (MyTheresa e.g.) and look for a piece or pieces similar to the one that's got you stumped. See what the professional stylists do with it/ them; this will often be enough to get you started experimenting!

I'm wearing mine with hasbeens in natural, a white vest top, cropped fitted denim jacket and this scarf in pink.

But agree with cuppa about looking on nap for inspiration.

lumpsdumps · 18/05/2010 20:19

Thank you for the suggestions will have a nosey on NAP

I ahve them in khaki and grey and wear with chiffony blouse and heels, tee shirt and converse, fitted jacket and vest and wedges, long slim cardi belted with gladiator sandals with everything really.

eshermummy · 18/05/2010 20:27

oooh cyb
Hadn't thought of long cardi option but think that would look great.
I have just bought the DP version of the same.

Tootiredforgodtyping · 18/05/2010 20:28

I've got the fatface ones and am marking this thread. Are they ok with flats?

cyb · 18/05/2010 20:28

STYLE GURU

cyb · 18/05/2010 20:28

lumpsdumps · 18/05/2010 20:32

cyb · 18/05/2010 20:33

lumpsdumps · 18/05/2010 20:35

I have a white top with short sleeves, or white shirt for work. Weekend will be easier!

OP posts:
cyb · 18/05/2010 20:41

yeah I reckon that would be fine

lumpsdumps · 18/05/2010 20:42

I think this is the first time I have ever bought something on a whim and not known what to wear with it. Not to bad for 35 years old!

cyb · 18/05/2010 20:58

wasnt that a detective programme with Pam Doo dah and felicity Kendall?

traceybath · 18/05/2010 21:01

I have the khaki and stone and they're very comfortable and lovely soft material.

I found they came up big so you may want to size down.

cyb · 18/05/2010 22:07

I found them true to size

Matsikula · 19/05/2010 08:32

I also got these, having seen them linked to so often here, and was amazed with them - looking forward to wearing them.

They are quite low cut, so fit across the hips and thighs rather than on the waist, so I'd go for your usual size if you are pear-ish (or maybe the sizes come up differently on different batches - that also seems to happen).

Tootiredforgodtyping · 19/05/2010 09:59

are amazing. they are only 22 quid in the sale and they make me look a size smaller

Tootiredforgodtyping · 19/05/2010 10:03

the fatface ones, that is...don't know what happened there
