Linen summer jacket

My favourite jacket has finally bitten the dust - must have been about 15 years old - and I need a replacement. I like heavy linen (less creasing) and am looking for something casual which will look OK with jeans and summer trousers, so maybe not a blazer style. Any bright ideas?? Oh, and I can't afford an 'investment' buy either!

Hmmm - there's one in the Kew catalogue in blue or charcoal, but haven't seen in the flesh and maybe too blazer-ish. I have a lovely Max Mara casual linen jacket that I got in the sales a couple of years ago - if you can hang on (probably just over a mth) the sales might yield something at a reasonable price.

My mum has a lovely one from Per Una. There's no frilly bits dingling from it at all.

I just bought this one It looks lovely on. It passed the DD style police as well.

NOt sure how heavy, at this price, but military style?
