about to have baby thought i might stock up before hand on facial products inc. Makeup that will try to hide exhaustion-haha and my blotchy dry face, complete with purple shadows under eyes. Pregnancy hasnt been too kind to my face i assume this will only get worse after birth. Please help. Tia.

Dry shampoo- boots own is best IME.

You will never have time to wash your hair, and it works miracles

I'll second the dry shampoo, wish I had known about it before having DD.

salt
lavender oil
tea tree oil

all to put into your bath when you get home

My lovely sil bought me Jo Malone red roses bath oil and a candle which were lovely.

Ren Moroccon Rose shower gel is gorgeous.

I didn't use dry shampoo as always bath and wash hair every morning. I also put a bit of fake tan on my face every few nights as makes you look a bit brigher.

A nice tinted moisturiser also good. I'd perhaps get eyebrows threaded and eyelashes dyed and a good haircut as near to due date as possible.

Dr Hauschka does a lovely rose face cream and all the Ren products are lovely.

And a good hand cream as the constant hand washing after nappy changes really buggers your hands up.

Guerlain Midnight Secret/Clarins beauty flash balm both meant to be very good for faking that well rested look.

Facial wipes - somehow I could face using these when I couldn't be bothered to wash.

Nice handwash and handcream for the constant handwashing.

agree dry shampoo, nice handwash and hand cream, benefits erase a paste for under eye circles and a tinted moisturiser....keep makeup light.

Get your hair trimmed before the birth, i found keeping it a length where i could still tie/clip it back handy, when too tired to wash it.

Nice dressing gown and pjs, i lived in mine for a few weeks.
