I saw espadrilles in Gap last week and had a bit of a flashback. Dh used to wear them as he thought he was Don Johnson in Miami Vice - baggy rolled up trousers, t-shirt and huge crumply linen jacket combo!!

I have the colour skinny straight middle rise ones in light grey. They are a smooth stretchy fabric - good for summer. Waist sits below belly button, definitely not low rise. Not that tight in the leg on me but I have skinny legs. Sizing - I am a good size 10 in e.g. Boden (29inches round the waist) but am very straight up and down - so it depends on how fitted they are in the waist. I am proud to say I fitted into a 26inch in these! I suspect it is a combination of slight vanity sizing, stretchy fabric, straight up and down cut. If you have bigger hips maybe order your normal size. Only £3 to take them up as well.

The tapered ones are made of thicker material, more "jeans" like - not sure what fit is like.

I ordered the pale grey and they went back as denim felt a bit cheap and they were an odd cut - baggy on thighs and sizing very generous.
