i have lost quite a bit of weight but still have a bit to go. The bras i was wearing were 42d which i had been buying for years . They were getting really saggy and horrible so i went to mand s last night and a lovely woman measured me and help me choose bras etc . Turns out im now a 36E What a difference in the way i look this morning . so worth the slight embarrassment

I have never been measured, but always think about it as I dont think I am wearing the right size anymore.

Do they make you take your bra off to measure you???

no she was very discreet she measured me standing in my bra and then every time i tried on a bra she would just put ther fingers in the back of it etc to see if it fitted well s.She went out the cubicle when i was actually trying them on. The only bit i was embarassed at was she told me to manually lift my boobs ino the bra more but we just had a laugh about it really im sure shes seen it all before but honestly talk about uplifted

Vintage,being a girl of spectacular norkage-34H,size 14,I am OBSESSED with wearing the right bra.It makes a massive difference.My mum and I went to Rigby and Pellar in London about 8 years ago.She is a 34G,but only 4'10'' tall,and a size 12 god love her...well we came out new women! The fitting is superb.The bras are pricey-about 60-70 pounds,but worth every penny.We are bra snobs now,and go there everytime we are in London,we live in Dublin,sister is in London.We handwash them so they last years.The girls there don't measure you with a tape,you take your bra off,they look at you,and know what size you are! Amazing! No shame felt,they see hundreds of women.Would highly recommend.They also show you how to put your bra on properly,and how a bra should fit you,so you know what to look for if your getting one from somewhere else.
