Is it day time?I would go for a low heel but in a fab strong colour, maybe patent leather. lk bennett have lots www.lkbennett.com
Hope link works!

I thoguht something similar-maybe a bright pink? I've got a pair of red lowish heels but they are velvety so too wintery (yes, it is day and in a hot country)

I've looked at LK but nothing doing really. I don't like kitten heels either. I don't find them flattering.

Hmm, how about a wedge which can look more summery perhaps? I think Kurt Keiger do some good strong colours and a variety of heights.

Hobbs and Pied a Terre are often good for classics

This? Bit different but possibly not something you'd get huge mileage out of later! www.hobbs.co.uk/index.cfm?page=1143&showall=true
