Title says it all really.

Want something to give my legs a glow in teh absence of sun. Never done it before so it needs to be foolproof. Preferably inexpensive.

bump - me too!

TrinityMeemaRhino · 14/05/2010 18:56

oh me too
I scared myself with my glow in the dark legs the other day

I remember some sort of moisturiser that had a subtle tanny thing in it and you built it up daily

but maybe it was shit

msboogie · 14/05/2010 19:05

those gradual build up ones are the easiest to use and less likely to go streaky and cheapest!

the best one I have found for looking natural is the fake bake one for fair skin - no oranginess!

TY

Which format works best. They seem to do a cream, a mousse, and an airbrush/...

I would suggest a moisturiser with a hint of fake tan that takes a few days to build up.

L'oreal is a good one, which some in a couple of shades.

Dont' forget to moisturise knees, ankles and elbows and allow to dry before applying tan.

For the face, Clarins have a new one out that's supposed to be great. Always moisturise before and wipe over mouth, around nose, hairline and eyebrows after application.

Can't beat St Tropez Everyday, imo.

Clarins! It's a bit expensive but so worth it.

A little tip - put equal amount of moisturiser (any type) and tanning lotion into your palm, mix together and apply.

  1. It gives a more gradual tan
  2. It makes product last longer

p.s. Clarins do a creamy type and gel type, I've tried both, and it appears to me there's no difference, its a personal choice.
