I have given up buying more maternity clothes as DS3 is due in 4 weeks () so want to get myself sorted for after that. I can't wear dresses as I have chunky legs and need to be able to feed. Skirts are a maybe, but I look awful in maxi skirts and have not found any nice below knee ones. So far I have chosen these as a cheaper alternative to the Boden funloving shorts and a pair or two of sandles - there is a heeled gladiator type, and a few flat ones - shoes have to be footglove or similar as I am knee deep in shoes I cannot wear as they blister me, or I can feel every stone underneath etc.

these look lovely but a) are cropped going to make me look shorter and dumpier and b) I tend to look abit butch sometimes when I wear stuff like that, but it might be because I'd used to team them with a vest top I don't really have a 'style' - I like the boho type looks, then the slightly what I would call slightly chic but laid back (i.e Boden casual). Comfort is the most important thing, I need to be able to kick a football around a park, sit on the grass etc. so no pencil skirts and heels

I have fat arms so will have to wear shrugs with vests, or longer short sleeve t-shirts, I have belly rolls so need long line tops, and I have a 38GG bust so alot of camis I spill out of and I have to account for fat nursing bra straps.

Thank you so so much if you can help, otherwise it'll be linen shorts, gladiator sandles and a shirt all summer

Right, I'll begin with your last post and the sandals.

First ones - like a lot and saw them in RL yesterday and was shocked they were footglove.

Third ones - lovely in metallic.

Not sure about the shorts or cargos - just don't think they're brilliant.

Here's some suggestions:

  • NL rolled up chinos
  • denim jacket for coverage
  • short sleeved cardigans for coverage/bf discretion
  • Skirt would look good with denim jacket

And pop to h&m or primark and stock up on loads of vest tops/t-shirts to wear under denim jacket/cardigans.

Grab a couple of summer weight scarves and some bangles as well.

And I'd get some jeans as well which you could roll up like the chinos on milder days.

Is any of this any good?

Oh and a good pair of sunglasses/bag too.

Have to agree with tracey - not keen on the shorts.

I am waiting for my new look to open, then i'll getting the chinos and cardis!

Sounds good - won't miss the shorts as I haven't really worn any for years anyway Will cropped jackets and cardigans be OK on my size? As for a bag, I was going to get this for my birthday but it's hard to use with many outfits I'd imagine...?

I love wrap dresses but unfortunatly due to my GGs too much is on show when I feed and the DSs tended to pull muslins/blankets down and expose me With tops , esp looser tunic types, I'm abit more covered

I think cropped cardigans/jackets work well layered over longer vest tops especially when you're not terribly tall.

I'm 5ft and find them good.

Also that new look little short sleeved cardi will be good when the weather warms up.
