Lost weight whilst pregnant and...

need an outfit for my daughter's christening in a fortnight.

Completely stuck. I've been a size 18 for years... but in the three months since I had my little girl I've burned weight like you wouldn't believe and am now a 12/14.

I have no clue what to do with this new shape. I was very curvy, and I knew how to work with that, now I'm slimmer generally, but rather top-heavy.

I need something smart and summery, pref that I can breast feed in. I'm v. dark haired and pale, olive toney skin, if that helps. I'm also short, at 5'2" - though I have no issue with vicious heels when called for!

Please help!

How about a dress with a wrap style top? How large of norkage are you?

Don't panic! That's the wrost thing you can do. Are you looking for used or a new dress?

Bravissimo do great clothes for those with an ample bosom! Aside from that though,I lost heaps of weight after my first baby.Eventually became very ill.My thyroid levels were off the chart.May be worth getting nurse at GPs to check your thyroid levels?

Not bothered whether it's used or new...

Wopsidaisy... now there's a thought that hadn't occurred to me. Is it more of a worry then, that my daughter has been 90th centile for length but under the 25th for weight? And that I'm sleeping like the dead? I'd out that down to just having a baby! :-)

I really am getting nowhere with this dress! I think I've been in every shop in Manchester (twice!)

Congratulations on the weight loss first of all! You've done the opposite to me - I was always a 12 but since having ds shot up too a 16. Extreamly jealous of you!

Very do a great range of dresses (esp the Holly Willoughby range) for curves.

Don't worry too much, your body shape is the envy of many and I bet you'll look great!
