Where shall I look for an Ascot hat?

Am London-bound tomorrow, and need to try on hats for Ascot. Am planning on going to Selfridges, but is there anywhere else I should try? Fenwicks, perhaps? Am planning to look/try, get idea of what style suits now I have hair shorn, then try to find a smaller (cheaper!) milliner on-line, poss. on Etsy and find something similar.

I seem to suit hats, so can go for something fairly 'statement'.

Also try Debenhams and John Lewis. Got a huge hat there for my brother's wedding.

Thanks MND, will have a look.

They look perfect Mrs MotMot, and very much up my street. Do you mind me asking how much she charged you?

£140 for a bespoke hat, made from scratch. It's gorgeous, and was for my wedding so I splashed out! She couldn't have been nicer or more accomodating- I lived over an hour away and she drove through to see my dress to make sure that hat went with it. Don't know if that's what she still charges though, it was 2 years ago now. HTH
