Clinique Superdefense spf25 - what's it like?

I've just spied Clinique's Superdefense Spf25 Age Defense Moisturizer (Combination Oily Skins) on John Lewis' website. Sounds just what I need.

Has anyone tried it?

oh it's lovely. I got a free sample of it recently and the sample pot lasted me about ten days. I used it on holiday. Not a sun bathey holiday but sun brighter than here. I didn't get a single freckle. I think it was 20mls. How many mls in a normal sized pot?

I use it, sinks in easily, seems to do the job

50ml, I'm using the combination dry version at the moment. It's ok, I won't be getting it again though.

Sometimes I feel its a bit sting-y when I put it on, and it leaves my skin not plumped enough, IYKWIM. Not dry, but not moisturised enough either. Has been a bit better with Boots No7 serum underneath.

I'll be looking out for special offers or going back to Liz Earle after this pot. I tried it because I like the Clinique make up and there was a free gift if I bought another item

they sell 30 ml or 50 ml

best thing is probably to go to a clinique counter and try it

origins do a lovely spf25 one as well. white tea anti-oxidants

I've still got oily skin in spite of my advanced (40+) years and find this is a fantastic moisturiser. It's non-perfumed and is easily absorbed. I'd tried loads of other moisturisers including Liz Earle, Origins, Boots, Clarins, Sisley and Decleor (all for oily skin) and for me this is miles better. I've been using it for over 2 years (it used to have a different name) and would recommend it to anybody with an oily sensitive skin who wants sun protection.
