Help me with Havaianas sizing?

I've just bought some silver Havaianas Fit flip flops with the backstrap. Am normally a wide-ish size 8 and feet are a bit bigger with pregnancy. I ordered according to the size chart - size 8/9, translated to Euro as 43/44 (which didn't seem right) - and they were tiny! Probably about a women's 6/7.

Has anyone else found Havaianas come up small? Am gutted cos they don't come in a bigger size. Have I just got to get used to having enormo-feet?

I normally go down a size with Havaiana, size 5 equivalent is fine for me and I'm normally a 6 1/2, but I've only had the flip flops without the back strap.

Bloody hell, I'm clearly a freak, then.

no they come up small.

Am a size 7, and wear the size you ordered.

They are fab quality and I recommend you buy a pair of men´s ones, they come in all colours and are unisex really

Update - tried on a pair of ordinary Havaiana flip flops (without the backstrap) in town today and the size 8s were massive.

Looks like there's a size difference between the ordinary ones and the Fit style.
