Outfit needed for a wedding 4 weeks after due date

My sister's wedding is in August, 4 weeks after my due date (so potentially as little as 2 weeks later I guess if DC comes late).

I can't see myself wanting to head to the shops just after giving birth, so has anyone got any suggestions for what kind of outfit might work for BFing and detracting from post-birth belly?

I'm normally a size 14 with a generous bosom! Colour-wise I can get away with most things.

May i suggest you get a maternity / feeding dress [if BF] and then you don't have to worry about fit. Next and Jo Jo do good ranges

Thanks - I'll take a look.

I'm just hoping to find something wedding-y that doesn't make me look ridiculous.

I went to my BIL's wedding 6 days after DD was born. I bought my outfit in advance as iI didn't know if i would still be pregnant then, or in hospital still or having given birth! Wedding was in July. I wore a pair of widr leg trousers (elasticated waist) and a matching tunic-y top (fine to breastfeed in). Then I wore a none matrnity jacket and a big hat to distract away from the bags under the eyes! I know it doesn't sound like a very glamourous outfit but I look remarkably OK on the photos! i would suggest some sort of print or pattern on the fabric to hide the inevitable baby sick. Nice accessories might be the way to go.
