What does a Grecian handbag look like?

Going to a wedding this month in a Grecian style dress with Grecian style shoes. What on earth kind of handbag would go with such a look? (It's not fancy dress y'all unnerstan, just a teensy bit ancient.)

Something like this?

What colours are you looking at? Can you link to the dress or shoes?

Ooh Fortuny pleat, hadn't thought of that, thanks. Dress and shoes are black but wearing a kingfisher/petrol blue wrap cardi and matching bit of hair froufrou (colour next to impossible to match so black bag I think). BTW dress is much nicer irl than the pic and actually looks better with curves under it.

the bow might work with the draping

Debenhams have lots of pleated bags, including this one

Or this purse is rather lovely and could be big enough for an evening bag at a push

Liking the price, look and adaptability of the bow one. Thanks a lot!

Hope you find something you love - and that you have a fab time at the wedding.
