Not sure what on earth to buy size wise.

i know they are small..we have the long ones in age 6 just about fit my slim 4.5yr old so was going to order age 7yrs is that realistic?

thanks!

Have age 7 for my (little) five year old.

N.B. tumble dried them and they shrank so much I had to send them back and get replacements.

im really wondering if they are seriously worth £28 tbh usually like white co. seperates for summer but they only have one pair of boys shorts on atm!

In the pack of two, the stripy ones are very soft but the printed ones have a slightly 'hard' feel on the print which makes me wonder how well design will last.

Usually love boden pjs though - previous pairs have lasted through 2 children.

They are so cute, dd (7) has them in age 7 and they seem fine, but she is very slim. I love them!

We also have some spotty chocolate and pink ones from Sainsburys which are in the same spirit. They remind me of how pyjamas were when I was little

im none the wiser than really
ds2 is quite skinny normally in boden 3-4 or age 4.

Have got the two pack non-skinny for my DSs.

3-4 fits 'normal'-sized DS2, was 3 in Jan.

5-6 - top is fine, bottoms fall down on v. skinny DS1 (6 in Sept). Have sewed them at the sides.

I found the long versions absolutely tiny on my equally as tiny DD - the sleeves were particularly tight (though we're talking a couple of years ago now). I've just seen some very similar shorty and long ones on the Mothercare website for DD - they probably have the same in the boys section. They were £13/14 for 2 pairs. Next also do shorty pjs that are similar and a fraction of the price (and wash better too!).

mmh next boys pj's this year..they don't have hardly any choice in summer ones. i know the mothercare ones you mean in a skinny fit think they stop at 2/3 grr! thanks tho

Ah didn't think of that - DD's nearly 4 but is still in 18-24mth Mothercare pjs and there's plenty of room left in them. What about Gap? DD's got a few of their skinny pjs - age 3 is a good fit atm so they are fairly fit-to-age from what I can tell.

maxybrown · 06/05/2010 19:18

I have only had long ones Nic - had age 4 for james aaaaaaaages ago and could hardly get them on him. I would go big!!

nicolamumof3 · 06/05/2010 20:28

Tate is wearing age 5 long ones atm but they are just starting to get small on the top. Was thinking about gettng age 7.

Mine were second hand so maybe already shrunk then? Could hardly get his arms in the age 4!!

I would.
