Help with blocked pores, they're nasty and black

Attractive, i know!!

I have blocked pores on my nose and now i seem to be getting them on my chin and I just wondered if there were any top tips for getting rid of them?

I only use Neutrogena scrub on my face and the ones on my nose have got marginally better but i've had them since my teenage years.

Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Have you tried the Biore pore cleansing strips?

Just stick them on the problem area and then pull off. I get blackheads on my chin (Build up of fake tan I think) but these strips pull them out painlessly. Very satisfying to see them on the strip I find.

Another vote for the pore strips, I buy boots own brand ones, witch hazel or some such, they are much cheaper than biore who would also have you believe you need different shaped strips for your chin - not so, just turn a nose strip upside down! Agree VERY satisfying to examine the strip afterwards and see all the gubbins you have extracted!

Thanks. I used them when i was a teenager. It's like a car crash though isn't it, you don't want to look what you've pulled off but you have to!!

Biore Pore strips (or own brand equivalent) to start getting rid. Then (depending on budget) forget facial scrubs, just cleanse with Eve Lom or Liz Earle or Tesco etc own brand cream cleansers using muslin cloth, then after blot face with cloth dipped in cold water to close pores. Avoid cosmetic wet wipe type cleansers. They don't go deep enough. Bit of a faff, but really works to keep skin clear.

Have a deep cleansing facial to "extract" them- hurts like hell, and makes your eyes water but gets rid of the little buggers!

deaddei - does they stay away or will they come back?
