just one question befor i go out and buy a denim jacket

apparently they are very 'on trend' this season, is this so? i was thinking it would be quite nice with summer dresses? do i go for one with cropped sleeves or long sleeves? am in a bit of quandery

Yes they are hot this summer - I have just brought one with cropped sleeves from new look to go with all my summer and maxi dresses - now I just need the sun to shine a bit more

I would get long sleeves and either push them up or turn the cuffs up. But I am ye olde school. And I feel the cold.

I dug mine out, tried it on, felt very dated and put it away again.

leather jackets seem to be very on trend this summer, especially with florals underneath. I can't get away with leather jackets though.

Chop, I think you would need to get a this season one - I have an old Levis jacket that looks very dated, but one I bought recently looks fine.
