Have you seen the Gap silk t-shirts? They are totally the wrong shape for me and make me look much fatter than I am but if you are not curvy and not too norky, they might be okay.

janeite · 02/05/2010 15:03

Absolutely love this but it is not at all what you are after.

traceybath · 02/05/2010 15:06

Do you have a comptoir near you - they have stuff like this in normally.

Or Reiss?

janeite · 02/05/2010 15:09

Cos as well maybe - but again, totally the wrong shape if you have curves and norks. All of their stuff seems cut for 6 feet tall ironing boards.

OurLadyOfPerpetualSupper · 02/05/2010 15:19

I got a similar top to that in H&M yesterday, in silk but with a softly draped neckline, in a lovely pinky mushroom colour.
Also got a silk mix belted shift thing, very pale oyster colour, with shell buttons at the back of neck.
Both great for large bosoms (no idea of whether you're blessed in that area or not!)
And a cute waistcoat with slightly puffed sleeves, very curvy.

traceybath · 02/05/2010 15:23

OurLady - I believe I have top too was it about £20. God - I completely forgot I bought that

SuSylvester · 02/05/2010 15:30

REiss all a bit odd
tried the leopard one on and
a) it was ££ for polystester and if it had beenin Evans you woldnt have been suprised - bad cut meant when you lifted your arms it pulled

traceybath · 02/05/2010 15:32

I do know what you mean about reiss - i've got a credit note from a mad scarf purchase and know I'll struggle to spend it.

And the Bath store has the darkest changest rooms so you can't even tell what colour things are.

Jigsaw perhaps?

Is this for a special occasion

SuSylvester · 02/05/2010 15:33

I think that style has been around for a while so maybe not in the shops very much as it's (whispers) dated?

Have you tried Monsoon?

A friend has a lovely one from Great Plains but it is sleeveless...

smallishsheep · 02/05/2010 15:43

at 'With a colour palette of cream, teal, mink, violet and mocha,'
It's grey innit

smallishsheep · 02/05/2010 15:45
