we had such trouble last year buying sandals as ds2 is an e fitting. clarks are all g and not sure about startrite?

like soft flexible sandals don't like birkies or anything too 'hard' any suggestions on makes to try in independent shoe shop?

thanks!

Superfit are a good narrow fit and a good brand. You could also try Pediped - very soft and flexible too. Umi are also fairly narrow.

You should also look for a velcro strap style, ideally with 2 or 3 straps as they can be adjusted for the narrow width.

Good luck, hope you manage to find something!

well went shopping today to two different independents was really really disappointing actually. the assistants didn't seem very 'keen' v.v.young iykwim. Anyway still nothing. Best fit was ricosta but hated the material looked very synthetic and for £40 i wanted something alot nicer. Will look into superfit and other brands you've recommended thanks.

I know of some places online which are really helpful with kids shoes and have the brands I mentioned if you have trouble getting them.

Thanks but finally after four years russell and bromley recommend birkenstocks and they seem to fit ds2 really really well!
