I am due my 2nd lo on 10 May and thought it would be nice to get my DD a charm bracelet from her brother/sister. Confused by the amount out there. Can anyone recommend any? DD will be 3 in Sept, thought it would be a nice gift that we could add to on special occassions etc.

Bombay Duck. Zillions of lovely enamelled charms and not so expensive you wouldn't let a child wear it in case it got lost.

my dd has one from avon, its great and the charms are so sweet, she chooses a new one every month

oh and the charms are usually about £2.50 each so cheap also

I got one for my dd from www.925silvercharms.co.uk - a huge variety of charms, but some are quite delicate and good for a child - they have a couple of nice nursery rhyme ones.

as lovely an idea as that is - if she's not going to be 3 until Sept do you not think she'd appreciate something a little more 'childlike' from new baby? we got DD1 Dora colouring from DD2 and when DD3 arrived it was the same kind of thing again, comics/colouring - it also gave them something to do during hosp visits?

am not sure a 2yr old would appreciate jewellery as much? that might be a nice idea for the christening/naming day or Christmas etc??

sorry - just a thought!
