how do I know what suits me?

what styles are good?

where does good value cheap ones?

I don't want to spend lots of money as i always end up losing them or getting them scratched, but my current pair are utterly hideous!

please someone help!

I'm getting nowhere.

I want something dull but elegant. not black. no sparkly bits...

Have you tried looking in TK Maxx? They have loads of very expensive labels styles for around 12 quid (eg Steve Madden, Oscar de la Renta, Fendi etc). They do sell some blingy ones but they also have plenty of plain styles too.

In terms of what suits you, take an honest friend shopping with you or ask the sales assistant if you can try them on using the mirrors in the changing rooms. I tried some on using the mirrors alongside of the sunglasses but they were weirdly distorted!

Boots have lots of nice ones - 1/2 price at the moment with a voucher that you get when you spend £5
