Don't even know what a Lilli Kelly is

traceybath · 30/04/2010 16:41

Well they wear crocs so I wouldn't be surprised.

squeaver · 30/04/2010 16:41

I imagine they're worn by the sort of women who go to Disneyland without kids and spend Saturday afternoons in Build a Bear.

cornsilk · 30/04/2010 16:42

Yes women with piles of teddies on the bed.

LynetteScavo · 30/04/2010 16:43

Women with very small feet, maybe. They surely don't make them in a size 40 for me.

colditz · 30/04/2010 16:44

Only the ones who have ISHOOS and a much older husband.

You know the type. They streak their hair blonde, wear pink glittery lip gloss and baby blue eyeshadow, and tight pink t-shirts saying "Princess Gorgeous Mwah Mwah". They pretend to be thick, and titter, even though they have an IQ of 125 and are 34 years of age.

They declare their four year old daughter to be their best friend.

They have a secret fear that if they grow up and behave like the adult woman they are, nobody will like them any more - so they refuse to grow up.

Meglet · 30/04/2010 16:45

I assumed the lelli kelly ads in Glamour were for kids shoes aimed at 'mummy' readers.

they don't really make adult sizes do they?

Greensleeves · 30/04/2010 16:46

I've seen some Lelli Kellies I would wear

but am not a cutesy bunches-type person, nor do I do any of the things colditz mentions

I like a bit of sparkle though

eshermummy · 30/04/2010 16:49

So mums of small children don't read Glamour?

Greensleeves · 30/04/2010 16:50

these are ok

Greensleeves · 30/04/2010 16:51

I like these too

colditz · 30/04/2010 16:53

Put it this way - would your husband be as attractive to you if he was wearing these?

paisleyleaf · 30/04/2010 16:53

Well you're a mum and reading glamour, so perhaps they've pitched the ads just right.

Greensleeves · 30/04/2010 16:53

these too with a bit of mud/wear, and black laces

SuSylvester · 30/04/2010 16:54

oi greeny
starting a new thread in education
need you

Greensleeves · 30/04/2010 16:55

would paint out the lelli kelli sign though

smallishsheep · 30/04/2010 16:55

If I saw a grown woman wearign lelli kellis I would first off be very jealous of her obviously dainty feet.
And secondly, assume she'd been let out for the day

Greensleeves · 30/04/2010 17:02

lol

I work in a children's centre with young children - I get "let out" for the evenings

Magaly · 30/04/2010 17:05

oh dear... if grown women wear lelli kellis, i bet they twist their hair and drink west coast cooler.

Magaly · 30/04/2010 17:06

ha ha colditz!

pointydog · 30/04/2010 17:19

lol @ colditz' man shoes

StarExpat · 30/04/2010 17:23

ROFL at colditz!! I can't stop laughing!!

MayorNaze · 30/04/2010 17:24

sorry to post and run - battery died

will now read thread and discover they are the new crocs...

OP posts:
MayorNaze · 30/04/2010 17:27

oh gosh so they do...

ah well.

and re mums reading glamour - read what the feck you want! i was just commenting on mothers of small girls not necessarily being glamour's target market...

Really? Adult women wear these things? Oh well, each to their own. It doesn't affect me if they wear those things, wellies, ballet pumps or flippers.

Seriously, that list is getting bloody long.

(n.m.p. = not my problem.)
