I don't like it. [disappointed]

smallishsheep · 30/04/2010 16:19

Me neither. You disappoint me Su. 'Studded hobo' sounds like some kind of crime report speak.

traceybath · 30/04/2010 16:21

I think its lovely but know Su liked it on a previous thread but it was too £££.

OP posts:
LynetteScavo · 30/04/2010 16:21

But then su has been known to wear those funny elastic head band things, so I think she could pull off the complete look with some black leggins, a dress, scarf thingy and some ballet pumps.

bibbitybobbityhat · 30/04/2010 16:22

Eeeeeeek

LynetteScavo · 30/04/2010 16:25

Have you seen a mouse?

smallishsheep · 30/04/2010 16:27

The way you describe her makes it seem like she dresses like a kid from Fame

bibbitybobbityhat · 30/04/2010 16:27

No - that bag is a lot scarier than a mouse!

LynetteScavo · 30/04/2010 16:29

Well, I've never seen her, I'm just piecing together what I've picked up from different threads, so I may have it all wrong.

Hassled · 30/04/2010 16:31

That looks a bit cheap and nasty. A bit bleached-blonde chain-smoker-stylee.

SuSylvester · 30/04/2010 16:33

elastic headbands?

traceybath · 30/04/2010 16:34

Well I'm not suggesting any of you buy it.

OP posts:
traceybath · 30/04/2010 16:35

Su - do you wear umm scrunchies?

Re-works opinion of Su as cutting-edge fashionista.

OP posts:
LynetteScavo · 30/04/2010 16:36

Wasn't it you who bought a thin headband, Su?

SuSylvester · 30/04/2010 16:38

god i am NOT a fashionista
you need to know this
am frimpy middle aged mum

i keep saying
i am just OPINONATED
i am the alexandra shulman of mn
kind of BAD dressing and minging but bossy abotu everyone else

traceybath · 30/04/2010 16:39

Frumpy middle-aged mums do not wear sequined mini-skirts or have the legs for them

I do wish Alexandra Shulman would sort her hair out though.

OP posts:
eshermummy · 30/04/2010 16:47

Su - I happen to like that bag.

I always wonder how come Shulman looks as rubbish as she often does given the freebies/expertise at her fingertips.
Am torn between thinking "Good for her at not conforming bla bla bla" but then I also think "if you're not that interested love then push off and let someone who would actually take advantage of all those freebies have a go" (like me obviously)

SuSylvester · 30/04/2010 16:47

adn that french editor of vogue
is it always halloween there?

traceybath · 30/04/2010 16:48

LOL Esher.

I suspect if I met Alexandra S in the flesh she'd seem very slim/sytlish/groomed - she needs to stop being photographed next to super-models

Esher - thought you'd like the bag too.

OP posts:
SuSylvester · 30/04/2010 16:49

on the left - shitting hell

Meglet · 30/04/2010 16:50

I would love to look like the french editor. Good eyebrows.

traceybath · 30/04/2010 16:51

I don't get Carrine Roitfield (sp) either - far too edgy for me.

And they say she'll take over from Anna W

I always rather liked Lisa Armstrong but what has she done to her lips?

OP posts:
SuSylvester · 30/04/2010 16:52

SHHH
she comes on here i think.
her nanny once was on and dropped a hint.
i LOVE LA

traceybath · 30/04/2010 16:54

I like her writing and think she's immensely attractive but stop with the fillers - they never look good.

OP posts:
eshermummy · 30/04/2010 16:54

I must admit to secretly hearting Roitfeld's gothic dominatrix look and at least she is totally immersed.
I do think if you are going to be a snooty (I imagine they are all terribly snooty) about the dresses and shoes and make-up of the general masses you should at least have the courtesy to uphold certain standards of barking-ness in your own attire.
