New to dermalogica, what must I have?

So I went and had a facial the other day, I am a soap and water girl thus far but was advised to start taking care of myself and the lady said that Dermalogica would be a good product for me so....

I am 30, dont smoke, I have very dry skin on my jaw line and a shiney T zone, I also have very red cheeks that are prone to flare ups.

Im looking for a daily exfolient, facial wash, moisturiser with SPF (green tint perhaps?) and a mask.

Please can you help?

Was it a Dermalogica facial? She should have done skin mapping, and then recommended the correct products for you.

Plenty of money?

iMum · 29/04/2010 18:35

No it wasnt a dermalogica facial, but I mentioned that my local salon uses dermalogica (a completely unaffiliated salon and not local to one anothr) and she said that their products were great etc etc

Totally recommend Dermologica Daily Microfoliant, it has worked wonders on my red, flaky, rosacea prone skin.

WorrisomeHeart · 29/04/2010 19:08

And the Skin Smoothing Cream moisturiser - brilliant and lasts forever - my current tube has lasted almost a year and a half, and thats with near daily (tsk tsk) applications. Lovely and light too and doesn't make my skin flare up.

PlumSykes · 29/04/2010 19:16

Second the recommendation for Daily Microfoliant. There are a couple of cleansers that might be right for you-eiether essential cleansing solution, or special cleansing gel

Am not a pro, but I really rate their products, and if a salon sells it, they will all be Derm-trained, and be able to help you select the right products. They may try to suggest that you have a facial with them, but if you don't want to, just stand firm and say that you want to try the products yourself at home. They should have samples too.

If they don't give you samples, you can usually get them on Ebay too.

My dh loves the gentle exfoliant cream...
