What would one wear over tailored shift dress with bow detail?

Apart from close fitting cashmere cardigan?
I'm at a loss. Everything looks frumpy and shapeless. Can't find bloody dress to link either-very nice jacquard coral numer from Next (really!)

What about something like this?

moondog · 28/04/2010 22:10

R&G, is that a bit fussy do you think for a frock which has a lot of front detail?

What is wrong with the cashmere cardigan idea?

moondog · 28/04/2010 22:49

Nothing really.
I just wondered if I was missing something and you lot would put me straight.

Loose unstructured stuff no good whatsoever with such things. Obv.

Nah, I think I'd go with the cadie.

Definitely go with fitted cardi.

Could you go for a linen jacket? Or is that one of the things that looks frumpy?
