What to use on my face on holiday?

Going on holiday sunday to malaysia and will obviously using SPF30 for body. But I do have sensitive skin and was wondering if I just slap this on my face too, or if that would just mean I end up with a very shiny awful-feeling face.

I have some questions!

-Should I opt for a total sunblock for face? If so, will my face end up white, whereas I am sure to obtain some colour on my body (in other words, will that not look stupid?!)

-If yes so total sunblock, can you recommend one for face?

-Do I need a seperate moisterisor too?

Help!

I use clinique superdefence cream[spf25] and superfit foundation which is humidity resistant even by the pool.I still go brown as the sun is really strong and will burn you very quickly.Having said that at christmas i saw loads of uk tourists frazzling themselves by the pool everyday-some of them badly burnt.I lived in asia and saw a lot of damaged skin especially on aussies .Lots of them had prematurely aged skin so i am very careful about my face, not so much about my body!.

Teta once again thanks for your brilliant suggestions - the clinique stuff looks great!

What shade of foundation should I buy though? Because it will not be the shade I am now, or will it? Maybe a sheer tinted moisterisor better (but will this slide off in humidity?)

I use beige in the summer but i don't know what skin tone you are.I would buy the colour you are now and buy a darker colour in your skintone and you can then adjust and mix as needed.Dont wait to buy there as they are always out of stock! and have lots of strange whitening foundations which look like flour on!.I have combination skin so tinted moisturers just slide off, plus the sweat and humidity make it worse.Hope this helps.

LOL dita

Well, I went to debenhams and went straight for clinique...don't know if it's that the women wear white uniforms and are not ridiculously made up, but anyway wondered over there. The women said I was better with the city sunblock, with the dramaticly different moisterisor. They had an offer on and I got the 3 step clinique thingy with an extra large moisterisor for the same price as just the moisterisor, and also got a free mascara, eye creme, facial wash thingy and makeup bag. So, very useful stuff for the holiday in general!

She also said that I would go brown despite the sunblock, but would miss out the red faced bit and go brown so looking forward to that

Good,I am glad you are sorted!.Have a lovely holiday.A couple of recommendations for things for kids in penang are the butterfly farm and the botanical gardens[as have lots of baby monkeys my kids love watching].But do not eat in the gardens as monkeys will grab you.Take a stick /umbrella as I ended up "handbagging" a monkey when he tried to grab my ds.On no accounts swim in the sea[whatever the hotel tell you]as you can get bad ear infections.
