Anyone with any good/bad experiences of laser whitening?!

I've looked into having my teeth laser whitened, I've seen the thread on crest white strips, but wondered if anyone had any experience with laser bleaching?
I've heard it can be painful! I could deal with 24 hours of shooting pains, but has anyone had long lasting sensitivity? Were the results too much?

No pain, but although much lighter a bit uneven and I 'finished off' with a week of a tray plus solution at night (recommended by dentist and inc in the price).

not sore but the real whitening happened after the trays...I didn't get the greatest result from trhe lasering alone
