Waist Cinchers?

Anyone tried a good one?

I'm thinking of buying a 50's halter neck swing dreess from Whirling Turban (sorry can't do links) and want something to go under it to help me define my waist.

has anyone tried anything good for this?

I'm thinking of the waist cincher from What Katie Did, but am unsure.

Ok come on ladies help me out here.

I've just ordered this dress and I want a waist cincher to accentuate my waist in it.

has anyone got some recommendations?

Love the dress!

I haven't used a waist cincher before but I have a Rigby and Peller basque that has a similar effect.

I have considered a corset for a more dramatic look, but they are so expensive and maybe a bit too dramatic!

Yes, I know what you mean, they're constricting and I always have to watch what I eat when wearing it too!

This looks pretty good?

I have the one Ewe linked to, but i don't like it that much it kind of bulges where the hook and eyes are and I look better without it.

I much prefer one like this one as it gives me a better silhouette. I can't see the one i actually have on figleaves anymore and that one would be no good with a halter dress, but there are others that would be.

You need an Esbelt from Simply Yours. I have a tummy thanks to general inertia, and it takes a stone off me. I wore the vest version all day at a wedding and it was fine.
