I am just about to start oil cleansing method, do you still use moisturiser in the moring? And would you use it after cleansing?

I am about to buy my oils, so is it just caster oil and sunflower oil I need? On the web page it said you can use yur kitchen oils but I'm thinking I better buy them in the health shop.

If you have any good tips let me know as I'm feeling nervous about it

I've been doing this a while now and I just use normal sunflower oil with castor oil. I did try olive oil but it made me v spotty. I still use an eye cream but I don't often use another moisturiser - just a couple of drops of the oil mix.

Tried it for the first time last night, with castor oil and oive oil as could not find sunflower seed oil anywhere.

I didn't moisturise after or this morning, but I didn't wear makeup this moring either so thinking if I am wearing make up will need some sort of a base.

Do you use sunflower oil which is for cooking or skin? Not sure if they are both the same.

Just the same sunflower oil as for cooking, from the supermarket - bargain! Works great as a body moisturiser too, although I have it in a separate bottle with some ginger oil added so I don't smell like an old chip

Yes, occassionally. My skin is not half as dry as it used to be, but still occassionally needs a boost. Bear in mind that the type of oil you use can affect dryness, and also the ratio of castor to base oil.

I've just started doing this. I have been using my nivea day cream occassionally as my skin still feels dry despite the fact that I'm using only 10% castor oil.

What does everyone else use to take their make up off on the days that they don't use oil? I've only been doing OCM on the days that I've been wearing make up so that I'm not doing it too often but sometimes I wear make up everyday.

I just use a baby wipe on the non-OCM days and moisturise with a couple of drops of the castor/sunflower oil mix

Thank you all for the replies, I was thinking of trying a mix of oil as a body moisturiser. Was also wondering if it might help with ingrown hairs on legs as I recently bought an oil that is used for ingorwn hairs.

So when using it for boy what mix do you use? And do you just leave the oil on?

i'm also just trying this for the first time. I wear make up everyday to combat redness. Will this help with redness aswell? thanks
