Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick - which colour...?

Hiya,

My friend always wears this and look stunning.
I have a toddler and a LO due next month and seriously need some facial 'attention' so am going to update my make-up bag.

I am going to get a shimmer brick but (without going to the store to ask!) can't decide which colour would be best?

I'm pale skinned (English rose, I like to think!), green eyes and dark blonde/mousey hair - wow, I sound like such a stunner.

Does anyone have any recommendations regarding which colour they use please?

Am also intending on getting some MAC foundation and some Clarins Beauty Flash Balm as have decided that if I'm not going to bother with eyeliner/eyeshadow etc that I would at least like to make my skin look good - then a little mascara and lip-gloss will be enough to finish things off. Anyone love/hate these products too?

Am going for the less is more look, but want to stop looking like I'm 50, instead of 31. Help!

I had a shimmer brick until it fell on the bathroom floor and smashed into pieces I think it was the rose one.

There are so many shades I think it would be best to go to a counter to choose one. Once you know what you want you can always tell the assistant that you need to think about it and go home and buy it on ebay. On US ebay there are loads of them and you will certainly find the one you want.

Personally I find Beauty Flash does nothing for me, but By Terry Light Expert is totally the bees knees in my eyes. It makes me look like if had a full nights sleep every night which sadly is far from the truth!

Oh, thanks VerityBrulee - do you use the Light Expert over foundation or instead of foundation?

I thought I might have to actually get off my large-pregnant-arse and go into town to ask about Shimmer Brick colours. Anyone got a spare winch?

I love my BB shimmerbrick.... Just a tip, they dont travel well! So dont carry it around in your handbag or it will shatter and you will be left with loads of glittery crumbs

Light Expert leaves your skin looking so lovely you don't need foundation

The new pink quartz one is really nice.
