How well does Jack Wills clothing wash?

Thinking of asking for a couple of things from Jack Wills for my birthday next month, but wondered how well they wash?

Also, how do the sizes come up, are they average or smaller than average?

In my experience, they wash very well-my oldest item would be 2 years, but washed loads.
Male sizes are average but womens are based on a non-Mum shape,'specially the shirts over boobs,HOWEVER trackies are HUGE.
Check out the cute leather wristies"dirty knees?yes please!"
I love JW x

I have a couple of their t-shirts. They wash well and come up pretty average size-wise, if not slightly on the smaller side but not much. body length is good though if you are taller tahn average. I'm 5 7 and find that some top s (Boden eg) are waaaaaaaay too short in the body and ride up, Jack Wills don't, in my experience.

I can't speak for the bottoms

the boobs thing is true but I am booby anyway so most things come up a bit tight on the boobs anyway so i'm used to that

Sizes a bit on the small side IMO.

DD is a 6 everywhere apart from Miss Selfridge where she is a 4 and Jack Wills, where she is an 8.

Things wash okay.

I have quite large boobs (DD cup) and 14 is the biggest they do - I only want Hoodies but dont want them to be too small.

I might have to visit the store, which I was trying to avoid as I find it a bit snobby in there.

They wash well but the buttons fall off and no spares are provided. Trackie bottoms are huge; shirts/hoodies a good average if my dds are anything to go by.

They wash very well and last for ages.

I wear some of DD's hoodies - they are a size 10, and are on the tight side boob wise.

That is because they are designed for pert teenagers rather than mammas who have breastfed ...

notyummy · 25/04/2010 22:40

Do you have to starch the collars of the polo/rugby style shirts to get them to stand straight up, or do they do that on their own?

Quattrocento · 25/04/2010 23:04

I am a stranger to starch

But I think they do it through some form of static electicity. I think it is to do with having flicky hair

Quattro

Flicky....or floppy?
