Does anyone make baggy swimming shorts for women?

I mean like the type you often see men wearing?

I don't mind a swimsuit at the pool but don't like to get the sun on the top of my thighs due to very sensitive skin from steroid cream use in my younger years.

All the swim shorts I have seen for women seem really tight and not made for ladies approaching 50.

I look at the blokes on the beach with their baggy swim shorts and think that I'd feel comfortable in them.

Anyone ever seen such things on sale?

How about these?

KurriKurri · 25/04/2010 17:54

or these? A lot of the surfer type companies seem to do them.

KurriKurri · 25/04/2010 17:55

sorry - I'm an idiot - I meant these

Their website is awful but look out for Oneill surf stuff.

Lion In the Sun has some which I bought but were the wrong fit for me (hourglass but needed to be more boyish for them to look any good on me, oh and taller).

There's another site here which has shorter ones as well. I think i want some now!

Why not try a swim skirt - much more flattering? here

or swimming skort?

Eurostar · 25/04/2010 18:49

Thank you for the links :-)

Never heard of a skort before. Thought it was a spelling mistake. Looks like a good idea.
