summer foundation

Ok, I know this has been done before but I need recommendations for summer foundation.

I've tried lancome colour ideal which was great in the winter but when I wore it to work the other day i noticed it was patchy halfway through the day (and I work in an office not even an air conditioned one!)

I also tried the free sample in cosmo of that new maybelline one which was pants from the moment I put it on!

I wear double wear light when i go out in the evening but don't really want to resort to that in the day too.

my skin is usually quite combination/oily in the summer but for some reason my nose and cheeks are a bit drier than usual which I think is down to the fact that my shower is fecked and I'm bathing every day!

So any ideas?

mac face and body foundation is lovely, you can build it up for more coverage if you need to i love it and have used it for years. I also love You rebel tinted moisturiser by benefit it makes your skin really radiant because its got loads of vitamin thingies in. hth

toppoptart is the benefit tinted moisturiser good for combination skin and is it easy to apply? sorry for the questions but thinking of purchasing but dont want to waste money if its not right for my skin. Tia

Nice lady in Clarins tried out the new Everlasting foundation on me yesterday and it was gorgeous, thoguh I think she chose slightly too dark a shade.

Am going to go to another Clarins next week and try a lighter one and then I think I will buy it as I am not at all impressed by the new Revlon one I bought in an attempt to economise.

I used to use You rebel back when I used to worry about a tan, and it was easy to apply - might try the lighter shade...

Don't want to be too shiny though.

thislittlesisterlola it is so easy to apply just used to rub it all over my face in a quite hap hazard way, my skin is combination too and it suits me and my dry skinned mum, they do usually have a little sample if you ask them might be worth a go.
