Yes, if I wanted to looked completely washed out I'd go out without makeup.

cornsilk · 24/04/2010 08:48

I quite like nudes but nude overload is not good.

traceybath · 24/04/2010 08:50

No - I like it.

But in moderation - have got a couple of nice tops and a silk cardigan from h&m. Do need to be fake tanned though and wear with a darker colour.

Ronaldinhio · 24/04/2010 08:52

tis vile

also trying to persuade me that a pair of orange shoes will make it better will not work

Ronaldinhio · 24/04/2010 08:53

or orange skin a la tracey

cornsilk · 24/04/2010 08:54

orange shoes? Blimey haven't seen any of those honeys.

traceybath · 24/04/2010 08:54

My skin is not orange thank you very much - it is lightly golden

mowcop · 24/04/2010 08:55

I look like I died last week in nudes! Not hugely attractive.

Ronaldinhio · 24/04/2010 09:01

these
being touted in magazines across the land

SuSylvester · 24/04/2010 09:02

a muted summer doesnt do orange.

OP posts:
Ronaldinhio · 24/04/2010 09:03

is it...footballers wives "golden" or strictly come dancing "golden"?

Ronaldinhio · 24/04/2010 09:04

golden?

traceybath · 24/04/2010 09:06

It is jennifer aniston golden actually!

In my head anyway.

cyb · 24/04/2010 09:07

I think 'nude' stuff looks more expensive somehow but only tanned golden streaked haired folk should wear it. I dont think it suits brunnettes (apart from latino types)

Ronaldinhio · 24/04/2010 09:09

It doesn't suit me at all my casper complexion leaves me looking like Phil Mitchell in a nighty

SuSylvester · 24/04/2010 09:09

tb if oyu cut her in half its gold all through

OP posts:
SuSylvester · 24/04/2010 09:09

yes with cheap fabrics it tends to look nighty ish

OP posts:
Ronaldinhio · 24/04/2010 09:09

only joking tb

Ronaldinhio · 24/04/2010 09:10

har de har

mangoandlime · 24/04/2010 10:34

It's peach and pastels dressed up for the noughties.

Did anyone see Colleen Rooney in her pleated peach number this week? My nan used to wear something like that every year on holiday at Rockley Sands to dance the Slosh in the 'Palladium' in the late 70s

EggyAllenPoe · 24/04/2010 14:04

i thought the flock of nude oscar dreses showed the blanditude of it.

boring boring boring. Next trend please.

MissWooWoo · 24/04/2010 14:26

I like it! you have to wear it right don't you?

a bit here a bit there. nice with golds - very summary.

I think brunettes look fab in nudes, lovely contrast

MissWooWoo · 24/04/2010 14:31
