My friend is due to get married in 8 weeks and have just found out she is pregnant.
She have bravely decided that her wedding dress will be uncomfortable and has asked me to help her find a Grecian style dress. She is a size 18-20 and wants cream rather than white.
Any ideas or links would be great

Thanks.

This would be gorgeous.

I've heard good things about ebay made to order wedding dresses.

Will have a look for more.

I saw one in the window of a local shop the other day -but I think it is not a national chain, plus it caters for skinny teens mostly so not sure it caters for large sizes. But I would guess that if it stocks that sort of style then that style is in fashion so should be available elsewhere...

thats stunning thanks.

summit like this?

LetThemEatCake · 22/04/2010 20:32

bugger - Isabella Oliver did a very Grecian one last season .. this season's less so. Both white too ... but perhaps worth a look given the time constraints!!

congrats to your friend on both counts!!

How about www.sotteroandmidgley.com/dress.aspx?page=3&style=JSM1343.

Not posted a link before, so if it doesn't work, try Sottero & Midgeley, style Sybil.

My dress was a Maggie Sottero and I felt fantastic!

nobodysfool · 22/04/2010 20:56

When I was going to get married, I was 7 months pregnant and ordered this from Bjorn and Me who specialise in maternity wedding dresses. She had loads of Grecian styles.

OtterInaSkoda · 23/04/2010 13:51

If she's only just found out she's pregnant, and the wedding is in 8 weeks, she'll be just over 12 weeks, no?

In which case I doubt she'll have much of a bump. What's her original dress like?

Fliight · 23/04/2010 13:55

I was going to suggest this but they only seem to have a 16...depends on the fit really. I have it in a 12, it fits fine, normal 12. But there is an allowance for a bit of a bump iyswim!

Fliight · 23/04/2010 13:55

Sorry, scroll down, it's the Noli beaded straps dress near the bottom...reduced to £35.
