Thinking ahead to the forthcoming Point to Point season, do you think they will hide my puffy ankles?

With a good skirt? Great, if yes as it will allow me to get pissed on gin without worrying too much about fieldwork.

They're okay but I find the Joules wellies are rather baggy.

Go with Hunter Neoprene lined. They are slightly wider than regular Hunters but not so baggy as the Huntress. They look great with skirts (I have worn my navy ones with skirts and dresses as well as jeans for walking dog in fields and woods & high street ).

I like the red ones!

Strangely, however, the green ones are yuck. Navy looks good but I'm not too fond of the great big logo (but then that's just me) - it's least noticeable on the red ones.

Skirt would look good if short and straight - I have worn wellies with flippy and flouncy skirts and it just looks WRONG.

Remember and wear enough sockage to keep your feet comfy - sometimes a trial in summer.
