replacement dustbag for leather handbag?

piprabbit · 21/04/2010 14:05

I've just bought a rather lovely, expensive (but now heavily reduced) handbag for my DSis. It doesn't come with a dustbag, so I'm hoping to find a new one to finish off the present nicely. Does anyone have any pointers as to where I can find a plain spare replacement?

I've checked ebay and all the dustbags on there are logo'd with the wrong brand.

Many thanks

John Lewis do simple plain cotton laundry bags that would do.

What brand is it? I have a Radley one I don't use as my bag is in constant use...

Thanks Eldritch - I'll look into it.
And many thanks gingerkirtsy - it's an Osprey bag so a bit unusual. I have a spare Radley dustbag myself for the same reason .

Have you not got a permanent marker pip?!

piprabbit · 22/04/2010 11:05

I think that is a very cunning plan.

I think maybe we should talk to Osprey- I have just paid a small sum for one of their bags but it didn't come with a dust bag so have the same issue. I am using an old Ri2K one but thankfully it's just for me.

Do people really use the sleeper once the bag is in use?

I'd be worried about dirtying up my sleeper!

Or you could look on the floor at TKMaxx

bound to be a few...

Well, taking Eldritch's advice to look into laundry bags, I've been busy googling and have found www.thecleverbaggers.co.uk.

They do large drawstring bags in lots of colours and sizes (and you can even customise with your own designs) from about 95p. The postage is also very reasonable.

I've ordered several in different colours, will choose the nicest for DSis present (and keep the rest for myself hehehe).

Thank you all for your time and advice.
