Birkenstock virgin - what colour should i buy?

Also sizing - I am a 5 1/2, do they come up big or small?

Have no summer shoes and need to get out of my boots!

Boring bump

I can't get to shops as have baby and need to order some before the school run - I can't tell which colours are nice just from the pictures!

buy patterend ones, they are much more interesting

there was a thread on birkie sizing a while ago - everyone else seemed to think they came up big but i thought they were spot on tbh

Depends on the style with respect to sizing. They also do some styles with a narrower footbed. I have some patent Madrid ones and sized down a size. The patent colours are lovely IMO.

i have patent purple ones and they are lovely, also a sage green pair. both madrid style and i wear my usual size in them.

Patent purple is fab. I think black can be a bit harsh with some summer clothes and these are a great alternative.

I have my normal size (7) in silver Madrids which goes with everything. Had another pair of Madrids in light green, also 7, but much wider foot bed for some reason.

Thanks everyone, have gone for plain white Gizeh ones to start with to see if I like them, thought they would go with most of my summer stuff. Watch it rain now...!

Also I'm a 5and a half or 6 but wear a 37which I thnk is a 4.5?? I reckon they size big

I'm a 5 1/2 and wear a 37 - they come up big.
I have a pair of olive green madrid which go with most thing and also a pair of pink which goes with everything else!

Im normally a 7 and I get a 39 in birks - which fit perfect. I think they come up big too.

I have pink, patent purple and patent red and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my patent ones I also want to add white, black and (patent) pink to my collection this year.

Im gutted though because my ones from last year are so smelly I think im gonna have to bin them if I cant get them to stop smelling
