Any ideas....I can only seem to see loads of open toe sandal ones. I don't like open toe shoes unless it's boiling.

No Fly London suggestions please as I hate them! Sorry just do.

What do you think of these?

gleegeekgleek · 19/04/2010 23:17

Sodding picture won't load - will try again later.

Right seen it now...I like the style but my main reservation is my short dumpy legs will get cut off by the high ankle strap.

Otherwise they'd be a yes!

KnottyLocks · 19/04/2010 23:31

KnottyLocks · 19/04/2010 23:43

charlieandlola · 19/04/2010 23:45

KnottyLocks · 19/04/2010 23:50

canvas

gleegeekgleek · 20/04/2010 10:49

They are all almost right apart from the folksy ones.....the high ones are a bit too high but would be perfect for going out.

Want something I can wear to do the school run etc. though.
Shiny almost right too...but too shiny.

Fussy moi?

these look comfy

And these, also in natural

Or these

Green shiney

Too hippy?

Actually, you should have a look on the Next website - there's quite a few!

gleegeekgleek · 20/04/2010 17:26

quite like these www.next.co.uk/shopping/women/shoesandboots/55/4 but if closed toe which they're not.

Don't mind the corsage shoes but any more ideas welcome! See bet you wish you'd never started on this thread now

OP posts:
brimfull · 20/04/2010 17:33

why won't you wear open toed sandals?

KnottyLocks · 20/04/2010 17:35

You've got hairy feet haven't you?

Or six toes on each foot?

Hooves?

Trotters?

gleegeekgleek · 20/04/2010 17:43

Because I have Raynaud's and tend to get purple toes unless it's tropical out there! Seriously.

I am an awkward git when it comes to shoes.
Here's an idea - what other shops could I look at beyond:
M&S, John Lewis, Next, Clarks, office, Shuh, Monsoon....any others?

KnottyLocks · 20/04/2010 17:54

Damn, was sure it was hairy feet. Would keep your tootsies warm though.

Fly but fit criteria

Another alternative is socks and sandals - very 'on trend'

gleegeekgleek · 20/04/2010 17:57

LOL maybe I will have to resort to that!

Or go and live in a warmer country...if I can get there given lack of flights.

OP posts:
KnottyLocks · 20/04/2010 17:57

Clogs could be the answer!

javari
amazon
scholl

KnottyLocks · 20/04/2010 18:15

faith
debenhams
jonesbootmaker

gleegeekgleek · 20/04/2010 18:57

??? the only thing holding me back is my mum used to have almost identical ones when I was little...

MarionCole · 20/04/2010 19:09

I like these, but they might be a bit middle aged
