ha, they're more comfortable this time, wonder why

OP posts:
cornsilk · 18/04/2010 20:22

why did you get one of those?

muggglewump · 18/04/2010 20:24

Those giant babygro things?

Why would you do that?[cofused]

nowwhatdoido · 18/04/2010 20:59

Oh god, no. I have vague memories of being very drunk and trying to negotiate having a wee whilst wearing bodies as a teenager.

bellavita · 18/04/2010 21:01

I have seen the back in the shops too >

brimfull · 18/04/2010 21:01

yup
pissy fingers and hands

CMOTdibbler · 18/04/2010 21:03

I bought some, and remember why I liked them before - great for layering, and it means there is no gap at the back of your jeans.

I just pull to the side - no refastening problems to negotiate

cyb · 18/04/2010 21:04

I'd be pulling it out of my crackage all night

PrimroseCrabapple · 18/04/2010 21:06

vpl no?

cyb · 18/04/2010 21:08

plus you have to wash them every time you wear them, like knickers

unless youre wearing knickers too?

CMOTdibbler · 18/04/2010 21:12

I don't wear them with anything vpl prone, or my bum is firmly covered by the top layer of top, and don't seem to be prone to crack creep.

Washed everytime, but I would always wash a base layer every wear. No knickers. I remember my friend at uni wearing a body, knickers and tights and thinking it must be a bit hot

southeastastra · 18/04/2010 21:14

it's a nice grey lacy one like a leotard, i blame the pineapple dance show. they're also good to hiding muffin top

OP posts:
hellzapoppin · 18/04/2010 21:33

Ha! Possible piss malfunctions aside - Leotard option deffo the safer bet.

Those poppers could be a beeyatch to do up again.

I have vivid memories of a woman striding through town in the early nineties unwittingly trailing a flapping gusset behind her...
... much, much worse than the old 'skirt tucked in pants' IMO.

NoahAndTheWhale · 18/04/2010 21:39

I always wore knickers with them circa 1993

crumpet · 18/04/2010 21:42

The mention of malfunctions made me look for this - check Patsy about 15 seconds in:

SparklyGothKat · 18/04/2010 21:47

I saw they were back in again... Bet I wouldn't look as good in one as I did when I was 16...

southeastastra · 18/04/2010 21:48

get one sparkly, i have awful flab - keeps it warm

OP posts:
RedBlueRed · 18/04/2010 21:48

College staple uniform - body suit, jeans and a mens suit waistcoat from the charity shop.

I recall a friend trying one but she removed the poppers and sewed in velcro instead. You can imagine...

ShadeofViolet · 18/04/2010 21:49

Always remember to refasten though. I saw a girl in town on Friday that had forgotten too and it was flapping round like a tail and people were pointing and laughing

ilove · 18/04/2010 21:50

Link to the one you bought?

pointydog · 18/04/2010 21:52

most of mine caused a little chaffage around the tops of the tops of the thighs. Cannot risk that again

RustyBear · 18/04/2010 21:52

southeastastra · 18/04/2010 21:54
