When you wear foundation, do you have beige sideburns?

I'm new to foundation, wore it for the first time yesterday.

I noticed today that after putting the foundation on, I ended up with beige sideburns where the foundation had coated them. I have blonde hair and pale skin, so never even realised these hairs existed before today.

Help - is there anything I can do. Would prefer not to resemble Noddy Holder

It may be a sign that your foundation is too dark for your colouring. If it sort of collects and looks a bit orangey. Otherwise try to apply with a damp sponge or brush, if not already, and see if that helps.
