Help choosing maternity wardrobe please!

Ok, I threw out all my maternity clothes after dc2 as we didn't think we would have another, so, we changed our minds and I'm now 13 weeks pregnant with number 3 and trousers just starting to get a little uncomfortable. Thought I'd start slowly buying stuff over the next couple of months so that I get the most wear out of it, and spread the cost. Let me know what you think of the following. Anything you love / hate? Thanks!!

Not maternity wear, do you think they'll fit?

beaded cami

silver top

tunic, which colour?

Either of these (dressed up with corsage etc) for a couple of weddings I'm going to?

for a wedding

or this?

Basics?

basic jeans

leggings

long cami

Finally, which of these cardigans?

one

two

silver top0

Congratulations!

They all look very lovely, love the black dress for a wedding, tres chic!

How old are your Dcs if you don't mind me asking? We have two Dds and I am contemplating going for a third. I have been thinking about it for ages but can't quite go ahead just yet! What was your deciding moment?

hmmSleep · 18/04/2010 19:49

Thanks newpup, I've a 4 yr old dd, and a 2.5 yr old ds. Dh always wanted more and managed to talk me round! I think I changed my mind when ds started communicating better and so things got a little easier, still think we're slightly mad though! Also dd will start school in September, and ds preschool, so that'll make things a bit easier. How old are yours?

Hello hmm sleep. Thanks for answering. Mine are a bit older DD1 is 11 next week and DD2 is 8.

I always wanted 3 but then things sort of settled into a routine with the DDs and life got easier and we were happy with 2. But I turned 35 6 months ago and I am very aware that it will soon be now or never for another one. But can not bring myself to actually go for it yet!

I suppose the gap between a baby and dd1 would be big but then they are easier to look after now. You see I talk myself in circles

Always interested to hear why people go for a third but hard to ask in real life!

Just looked at your profile pics, your dcs are lovely!

newpup I'm pg with no 3.dd1 is 10 & dd2 is 8

newpup · 19/04/2010 16:50

Congratulations Nymphadora! Do you mind if I ask what made you go for three?

You have 2 girls too!

hmmSleep · 19/04/2010 16:56

I turned 35 a few months ago too newpup guess that was another factor in deciding to go for it now rather than later. I think my dcs are lovely too, but then I would (well, most of the time anyway!).

35 must be the magic age!

Started again with new dh. Aiming for 4 though. I'm 31 so got a bit longer but dh is older!
