In the last few days I have seen literally dozens of women and girls weraing really nasty strechy rose-print skirts, vests and dresses, all a bit like this top but more often with a black background and a pink/red flower.

They look so cheap!

Please, don't succumb!

Eww.

Is it 1987?

foureleven · 18/04/2010 14:48

Why do they look cheap? You'd hate me... ive got the leggins...!

usualsuspect · 18/04/2010 14:49

I like them...

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 18/04/2010 14:50

I've seen them too. I don't mind how they look, unless the wearer has lots of flab, like me! I won't be wearing them! But I think they look great on slim women.

NorkilyChallenged · 18/04/2010 14:50

These clothes (well the skirts at least) call to me because they speak to the part of me that has never moved past 1990

Tight stuff on me these days is not a good look

foureleven · 18/04/2010 15:08

Yes Norkily. I bought a coral coloured body suit today for that very reason... 1990... No just to seek out a floppy velvet hat.. Lovin the 90s comin back

dolphin13 · 18/04/2010 15:25

I've got 2. Long sleeves though and no sequins. They look nice with leggings and boots.

cyb · 18/04/2010 15:26

everyone looks so.....cheap

PlumSykes · 18/04/2010 15:31

PlumSykes · 18/04/2010 15:31

Ooh, what did you buy, Cyb?

EggyAllenPoe · 18/04/2010 15:31

this harks straight back to the early 1990s - i think i had floral shorts, (which were cheap) and my sister had a coral jumper to wear with a lycra mini...(also very cheap)

agree OP, it doesn't look quality at all and although i quite lie a bit of a floral decoration, all-over print is not it.

JunoWatt · 18/04/2010 15:34

yes they all love them

they are good for showing off really rolls of fat

cyb · 18/04/2010 15:37
