White leggings = bad???

Hi,I bought this very beautiful tunic yesterday and have no ides what to wear with it.
I could possibly wear it with bare legs and silver glads but is a little short on me and I would require copious amounts of st tropez {and a large glass of rose }to get out of the door.!
I tried it on with jeggings but that was just wrong...the tunic is too delicate and the denim too heavy.I then thought maybe white cropped linen trousers and from there I got to white leggings.I just can't get head around them though.Feels wrong.
I did think maybe just white trousers but would that be too flowing art teacher look iywim..
So wise ladies please help.Its such a lovely tunic,I need it to look great.

mmm, white leggings.... Would have to be quite robust (e.g. thick material, lots of lycra)if they are to look flattering. I've got skinny legs but my white tights look absolutely crap as the material is too thin and exaggerates every bump.

What about white skinny jeans, maybe with a small turn-up and silver glads, and maybe a nice chunky silver necklace or bracelet. That would, in my opinion, move away from the flowy art teacher look.

Oh, re-read your OP and saw that jeggings looked wrong- not sure if white denim would look too heavy or not, in that case.

oh, that "mmm....white leggings" was meant to be a thoughtful-mmmm not a thinking-of-sex-mmmmm, just in case you were wondering...!

Can you still get capri pants? I think white leggings on anybody over about 6 would not be a great idea tbh.

white skinny jeans, bare legs, or a light beige colour trouser would work, maybe?

Thank you both,think will investigate white skinny jeans,did think of capri pants but have not seen any for a while although they are not too disimilar to skinny jeans.Think white jeans would be ok,think the jeggings were wrong colour more than anything.My head is telling me to step away from white leggings!!

I think white leggings would be unflattering on most people, even the very slim. White skinny jeans would be better.

(OT but yesterday in front of dd's school a woman rolls up in what she clearly thought were black leggings and a long jumper. She'd clearly pulled a pair of opaque tights out of the drawer by mistake, and they weren't that opaque )

Don't you mean just "leggings = bad"? They don't have to be white!!
