don't know about "school run dresses" but how's this as a good chuck-on-and-go dress?

I really like it!! You could wear it casually w strappy flat sandals/glads, or w a heel if wanting to look more formal. Buy, buy, buy!

okay if you are slim with good arms and small norks but I think I'd look like an overgrown toddler in it

TrinityIsAPenguin · 17/04/2010 09:18

hmm totally boring isn't it

Nevergoogle · 17/04/2010 09:25

i'd wear it as a t-shirt rather than a dress, but i have tree trunk legs. i like it, but not enough to get excited about it.
that's why i never have enough t-shirts, i find them too boring to actually buy, then i complain when i don't have any.

omnishambles · 17/04/2010 09:27

Its ok but not for me - I'm looking for the definitive shirtdress for the summer...

Nevergoogle · 17/04/2010 09:28

www.frenchconnection.com/product/Woman+Collections+Dresses/71BX3/Amelia+Gathered+Dress.htm i'm liking this in phantom though.

dont like the square neck

jamaisjedors · 17/04/2010 12:55

I like it.

Has anyone seen it in real-life - am interested in how long it is?

Who is "supposed" to be able to wear square necked stuff? (ie small/big of nork?)

jamaisjedors · 17/04/2010 12:57

See I think I would look like an over-grown toddler in that 2nd one, much as I like the look of it.

It would kind of sag and flatten me in the chest area I fear.
