ok so i lost all the weight since dd (6 months) but i have stretch marks below my belly button i am resigned to.

we live by the sea and i want to take dd on the beach lots this summer.

its a no to bikinis and tankinis. i'm intruiged by these monkini things but will i end up looking like Borat?

failing that where can i get a not too mumsy one piece?

Have a spray tan before you go, it will make the marks less obvious. And look at the other women on the beach. I GUARANTEE there will be many worse bods than yours. Bikini all the way.

LadyLapsang · 16/04/2010 13:26

Why don't you treat yourself to a bikini (to wear with a cover up until you feel brave)and a swim suit. If you are near a TK Max they sometimes have some very expensive suits for next to nothing, otherwise Boden, Selfridges, the Speedo store (their more designer type suits rather than the really functional ones).

gherkin - yeh maybe (though risking being flamed i am more a sunbed type) see your point about others looking worse its just about me really - love dd/being a mum but feel robbed of body.

LL - actually thats quite a good plan re the cover up. think i will look at co ordinating cover/bikini sets.

thank you x
