here

Going out with some old friends. Just dinner and drinks. I am size 14. Good legs. Post baby/easter egg stomach. Thought the wrap stylr woudl suit me and liked the colour but could very easily look frumpy on. Was thinking of wedge heels and chunky silver jewlerry. Any thoughts? Would a cardigan kill this look I am thinking of?

I am so woefully short of style.....

an orangey/red necklace would be better...

like this one which is at sale price...

it's a much nicer contrast against the navy than silver.

a low wedge like these would be good for daytime.

these better for casual but bit dressier.

if you go for a cardi- get a waistcoat and/or drapey one like this

or this if you want colour contrast.

this would look lovely and would add a bit of pattern.

Thank you so much. I love the idea of orange. I think I shall order the second pair of wedges blinks. Not sure about the strappy ones as I have horrible wide feet. Afraid my feet my look like they are trying to escape. Not a good look. I like all the cardis so might order all to try. Thank you again.

Just had a thought. Its still abit cold to go bare legged in the evening. What should I wear on my legs. Thick tights seems a no no. Maybe leggings?

no fashion advice from me, but wanted to say that i LOVE the dress!

Hmm. I think the dress is a little 'boho' to dress up with heels leggings etc. Its a bit too frilly for that. Something simpler would be better, more sophisticated. IMVHO

I have that dress - bought it on saturday.

Its very flattering on.

I'm just going to wear it with my wooden heeled sandals in nude and a stack of antique gold bangles or a silver cuff.

Feelingsensitive · 15/04/2010 08:25

Sounds good Tracey. Are you going bare legged? I have nude sandals so maybe I will copy you .

Cyb - Yes I thought the same about the leggings but I am clueless about style. Also dont want to be cold. I am going to order the dress now and then maybe those orange shoes blinks linked too. I have very wide feet though so normally have trouble with shoes. May have to start another thread about that as well .....

glad you like this orange shoes- they're a good price and i'm sorely tempted myself.

cyb · 15/04/2010 22:36

i know you are not looking for a bag but I like this

Feelingsensitive · 16/04/2010 09:32

Yes that is rather nice. It will be the shoes or the bag. Might have to budget for the bag for next month. Thankyou.
